Company

The company started as a one-man business and from 2 January 1984 up until 1985 it had the form of a general partnership. In 1986 it acquired the status of a public limited company and since then, it has been trading under the trade name “SP. MAVROMMATIS S.A – K & M MAVROMMATI IKE”. The company’s secret is its seasoned personnel with a great experience in the fields of supermarket supplies, wholesale trade, cash & carry stores, mini-markets etc.

The company is able to offer integrated services and meet all client expectations and requirements, not to mention the increasingly demanding need for product statistics and logistics services. In addition, the existing information system has been reorganized and upgraded through the installation of the new Delphinet ERP software “SMART” which is now connected to the specialized warehouse management software and customer relationship management software. Last but not least, in the company’s premises there are offices and exhibition rooms available to our clients which are also supported by secretarial staff and telephone services.

To better organise and improve the quality of the services as well as enhance the performance of our personnel so that we are able to meet the increasing market demands and quality specifications; therefore, in July 2007 the company became ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP 22000:2005 certified and was accredited by EUROCERT HELLAS
To expand and modernise our technical equipment so that we are able to start up more business activities e.g. frozen products trade
To expand our imported products range so that we can offer even more competitive prices
To build partnerships with companies of the neighbouring countries so that we increase our imports and exports
To maximise our profits through increase of the turnover

The development of the field of distributions is expected to be positive since companies, in an attempt to achieve a better distribution of their products into the market and also focus primarily on research and production, are bound to assign the sales and promotion of their products to experienced distribution companies with low operational costs charging the end clients lower prices than the production companies themselves.
